14 Vulpeculae is a white main-sequence star in the constellation Vulpecula. At 160 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 5.68. The star's age is estimated to be 1.7 billion years but is certainly no less than 1.6 billion years and no greater than 1.8 billion years. The iron abundance of 14 Vulpeculae is -0.23 (58.9% of the Sun). It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 41.2 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 16,600 and 24,000 light years from the center of the Galaxy. It will come closest to the Sun 1.1 million years from now when it will brighten to magnitude 3.63 from a distance of 62 light years.
