39 Crucis is a blue subgiant star in the constellation Crux. At 950 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 4.91. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 36.6 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 17,600 and 23,600 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
