HR 2881 (HIP 36514)

HR 2881 is a yellow supergiant star in the constellation Puppis. At 1,481 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 4.65. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 28.7 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 24,600 and 31,600 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
