Theta-1 Orionis is a blue giant star in the constellation Orion. At 2,027 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 4.98. Theta-1 Orionis is a component of a multiple-star system. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 28.4 km/s relative to the Sun and is part of the NGC 1980 moving group.
