Gliese 146 is an orange dwarf star in the constellation Horologium. At 44 light years away, it shines at an apparent visual magnitude of 8.57. It is moving through the Galaxy at a speed of 38.1 km/s relative to the Sun. Its projected Galactic orbit carries it between 20,800 and 25,400 light years from the center of the Galaxy.
